xgal_1968_tattershallcastle_The_Venue-6[1]Please join MCG Committee members, speakers and others for a pre-UKMW14 conference ‘Drinking About Museums’ aboard The Tattershall Castle, a fantastic paddle steamer bar moored just off Embankment Bridge with a great view of the London Eye and the Thames. This will be a great opportunity to enjoy a drink and informally network with colleagues in or around the digital heritage and museums sector.

We’ll be there from 6-11pm on Thursday 6th November 2014 (the day before UKMW14). The address of the Tattershall Castle is Victoria Embankment, Whitehall, SW1A 2HR, and you can find further directions on their website or use TfL’s JourneyPlanner.

Last year’s event on the Tattershall Castle was a a relaxed, sociable evening, and a great success.

This is a free event, and you don’t have to be a conference attendee to come: everyone’s welcome! And that extends to the drinks, too. It doesn’t matter if your drink of choice is a soft drink, water or a nice cup of tea, come along and meet some nice people. If you’ve never been before, look for MCG Committee members and they’ll introduce you to people.
