  2. Hello All,

I am currently creating a multimedia guide using Workpress. I was approached by several peopl at the UK Museums on the Web conference, and I want to thank those people for their advice and comments.

I am hoping that the section of the site will be used for others to get in contact about similar projects they are doing or give advice to those who are thinking of using it.

My current project can be found here: http://yuffymoh.wordpress.com/2010/06/04/start-page/

If anyone has any advice on what else I can do, or how I could improve this, I would be very grateful. I know WordPress is popular in the sector so I would be grateful if anyone with experience could get in contact. I am new to wordpress and don’t know what the system is capable of.

    Thanks

    Hi Shona,

how does the technology relate to the user experience, or the kind of user journey you want your visitors to have?

The contemporary science news gallery at work was built on WordPress (http://antenna.sciencemuseum.org.uk/) and I’ve been doing a lot of work with WordPress for my dissertation project (http://museumgam.es/) – I can compile a list of plugins I’ve found useful, though I suspect the user-facing needs in each case are very different to yours.

    cheers, Mia
